Each Name in the Old Testament is explained in the context by the way that God acts in certain situations intervening in the lives of ordinary people. I pray that by now you realize whether or not you are a genuine Christian or just playing a part. The Bible is very clear on the subject and we should be as well.

The Name (character) of God is a place of refuge

Where do you turn and run to seek refuge during the midst of life’s storms? Do you have a strong tower of refuge? Or, do you try and take on life’s problems with your own strength? If you try to do it in your own power, you will end up burned out and at the end of your rope with no where to turn. If that is where you find yourself now, then please understand that there is hope for you.
