Six day camps down, 3 more to go!!!

Thanks for all of your prayers and support over the past 3 weeks. We have been able to organize and put on 6 day camps in 5 different villages and one in the city. God has been very good to us. We have been able to share the Gospel as well as disciple over 350 children over the past 3 weeks. We have studied several different Bible studies from “God, what is Your name” to “Lord teach me to pray, for kids”, as well as “Wrong way Jonah”. The kids have really enjoyed all of the studies. Two day camps down, eight more to go.

Thanks for your prayers over the past week. On Monday, two teams of a total of about 15 leaders embarked on a week long journey of teaching the Word of God to over 100 children. We held two day camps in 2 different villages. In the village of Bacioi, we decided to do Bible study and play baseball. The first day, there were over 20 kids who came to study the Bible with us. For the afternoon session, we began to learn how to play baseball. By the end of the day, we attempted a mini game. All went well. Continue reading

Day camps begin today!

This summer, we have planned to lead 10 day camps in 5 weeks. If you do the math, that means 2 per week. Our desire is to reach close to 1,000 kids with the Gospel over the next 5 weeks. We have 2 teams going out per week. Most of the camps will be in villages. I will be leading one in the city next week. Three of the ten camps will be baseball/softball camps so please pray that God will hold off the rain over the next 3 weeks. I am excited about teaching God and baseball to the next generation. Please pray for us, our teams, and the children who will hear the Gospel. We have already had threats from the Mayor of one of the villages. We know that God is in control and will work all things for our good. Please pray for the Mayor of the village of Bacioi. Continue reading
