Just a thought

man_thinking Anytime I have a discussion either in person or online, I hear a common point offered by homosexuals and their supporters. The point being, homosexuality is not unnatural because it happens among some of the animal groups. That is the end all argument that cannot be countered (at least that is what they believe). I thought about the logic of this argument and came to an interesting conclusion. Is it acceptable among people because it happens in the animal kingdom? If that is the case then I have a question. Many animals eat there young, so is it okay for human parents to eat their offspring?

In the pride of Africa, when a new dominant male takes over, his first act is to kill the cubs of the previous dominant male. Should a stepfather be able to murder his stepchildren as his first act as her new husband? (since it happens in the animal kingdom then we should accept it, right?)

Accepting something because it happens in the animal kingdom is quite a futile way of thinking. Here is what the Bible says about people who have rejected God’s standards and live by their own.

21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (Romans 1)

Please do not fall for the futile arguments of the homosexual and pro homosexual crowds. Their arguments are futile speculations because they want to worship the creature (themselves) rather than the Creator (God). May the Lord help us be wise in everything.
