Church Planting Session

You may have noticed that I have not been very active on my blog over the past 2 weeks. If you have been following then I want to apologize. Over the past 2 weeks I lead the 2nd Session of the Precept Ministries Eurasia”s Inductive Bible study Institute. The theme was “Church Planting”. We studied “Lord I want to know You” about the Biblical Names of God, written by Kay Arthur. An additional study on the Book of Acts was also part of our curriculum. We learned how the First Church was formed and extracted principles of church planting from the Book of Acts and also extracted principles from each lesson on the Names of God. We learned how to know God by Name. God has revealed His character through His Names in the Bible as well as through His actions in the lives of mankind. It is a fascinating study and I recommend it to all. Here are some articles on some of the Names of God (Jehovah, Jehovah-Rapha, Jehovah-Shalom, Jehovah-jireh, ).

There were 8 of us in all. We studied for 10 days, learning theory, practical application, as well as practical assignments. Now, the students are motivated to go and start small group Bible studies, making disciples that will be the foundation of a new local church. We pray that there will be great change in the lives of many people based on what we accomplished at the session. Our lives have been changed and we want to take that change to others. Please pray for these faithful followers of Jesus Christ. One of the ladies from the session has already requested 30 books so that she can start a new small group.

Thank you for your prayers. I plan to be more active now in my blogging.
