I just found some new info on the dangers of homosexuality. There are many who say that this is a harmless, alternative lifestyle that should be promoted just like heterosexuality. I could not disagree more. I have written much on this subject but I have to continue because the evidence continues to mount against homosexuality. It is dangerous for children to be around homosexuals. Read why here. Homosexuals are targeting children. See how here. They want to teach children in the public schools. HIV/AIDS is an epidemic among homosexuals in the USA. Continue reading
I have had the privilege this past week of spending a few days with Dr. Paul Cameron and his wife as they have been sharing with the citizens of Moldova about the dangers of homosexuality, especially to our children. Based on the arguments shared by Mr. Cameron, I want to preach a sermon this Sunday morning at the church. I was not surprised to see the results of Mr. Cameron’s research. I would like to share the sermon here with you in article form. (check out his info at the Family Research Institute website)
I. Homosexuality promises financial prosperity. We live in a material world where people will literally sell their souls in order to gain the world. The motto of the day is “live for the here and now and do not worry about tomorrow”. The idea of accepting homosexuality is promoted left and right, but of course, the negative consequences are avoided and the “benefits” (usually in the financial form) are promoted. This is nothing new. This happened in the very beginning.
And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw that the Jordan Valley was well watered everywhere like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, in the direction of Zoar. (This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) Genesis 13:10
In the first article, we looked at the background and overview of the “Sermon on the Mount”. We saw that this sermon teaches about the righteousness/character of God. Without this righteousness, it is impossible to please God or enter into the Kingdom of heaven. As said, there are two types of righteousness in this world, the righteousness of man (found in all the different religions invented by mankind) and the righteousness of God. Continue reading
As we are preparing to celebrate Valentine’s Day here in the USA and all over the world I cannot help but wonder if people actually know what they are celebrating and why. Many times, traditions develop over time, as holidays or special celebrations become traditional. Those who celebrate usually forget the reason for the celebration, especially as time passes and new generations come on the scene, not necessarily directly connected to the celebrations and traditions. I feel that this is the case with Valentine’s Day, or the day of “lovers” as some have suggested. In this article I would like to give the history of St. Valentine and the reason why we celebrate his day in many parts of the world as well as share how to celebrate “True Love” from a biblical perspective.
In this article I would like to look at homosexuality from two angles: one the fact that the homosexual lifestyle is destructive to the one who lives it as well as to others and the second angle is the fact homosexuals should not be allowed to adopt children. I was sad to read about the death of Casey Johnson. It is a sad story that seems to be repeated often among people who live immoral lives, especially among homosexuals (lesbians). Ms Johnson seemed to have it all. She was the heiress of the Johnson and Johnson company. Continue reading
I find it interesting that as a society, we fight very hard against vices such as smoking cigarettes, drugs, alcohol abuse, etc. yet at the same time society promotes something that is far more dangerous than the above mentioned activities. Continue reading
After reading my last article you may be thinking, “what are the world stats on HIV/AIDS” since I only used stats from the States. Maybe the situation is not so bad in other parts of the world for homosexuals when it comes to the topic of HIV/AIDS. Let us take a look at some worldwide stats on the dangers that homosexuals (and all immoral people) face because of their lifestyle choices. Continue reading
As you may or may not know, today, Dec. 1 is the international AIDS awareness day celebrated in many, many countries. For the most part, organizations that participate in this day of awareness usually come from the secular humanistic point of view that the best way to protect yourself from HIV/AIDS is using a condom. The argument usually unfolds like this, “teens and young adults are going to have sex anyway so why not teach them how to be better protected (not 100% protected) by using a condom. Besides, abstinence is so “old fashioned”, and we live in the modern age.” If you have heard or used this argument then I would like to flip the coin on you and take a look at the other side. I would like to write a little bit about a sad subject that this world faces. As adults, we all know very well of the fact that the youth of today are our future. We have the responsibility of raising them so that they will be in position to raise the next generation after them so that we as people, can continue on in this world. Continue reading
