Last Thursday morning, Good News church held a press conference to draw attention to the lies in the public school textbooks about the pseudo science of Darwinian evolution and creationism. Close to 90% of the textbooks teach Darwinian evolution as a fact and creationism as a myth. The “proof” about evolution is based on outdated science with obvious mistakes in the textbooks. When creationism is mentioned, it is called a myth and there is no evidence to prove or disprove the claim. We pray to be able to help edit future textbooks for the public schools where creationism will be given a fair presentation with the facts produced by Creation scientists. Having this as the context and background, I would like to present Biblical evidence for God’s existence. These four steps can be quickly and easily presented to the people around you. This information came to me via Ray Comfort on Facebook. I am following his basic outline but have modified it a bit with the Scripture references.
Before getting into the meat of the lesson, I want to recognize the fact that the Bible wastes no time trying to prove the existence of God. The Bible just claims that in the beginning, when all matter came into existence, God was already there. The second thing that the Bible claims is that those who say that there is no God, they are fools. They are described by King David in the Psalms.
1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds ; There is no one who does good. (Psalm 14)
The word fool literally means “one who is senseless” and carries the idea of a person who does not think things through based on the logical evidence. There is a reason that a person wants to say that there is no God. The reason is that he is corrupt, a selfish, sinner who wants to do things his way. The deeds that are practiced are abominable (detestable) in the eyes of God and man. Instead of admitting the corruption and stopping the detestable acts, it is more convenient to say that there is no God so that I can calm my conscience. It is convenient for sinful man to choose not to believe in God so that he can calm his conscience for doing sinful things. So just to understand, this is the root of the problem when trying to convince someone of God’s existence. They are choosing not to believe on purpose. There are hidden motives from the start, even if the person could never admit it.
1. Creation
As everyone knows, nothing produces nothings. You cannot produce something out of nothing. Modern man sometimes claims to be able to create life yet he cannot create the elements and components that are used to produced life. Creation is proof of a Creator. The great Apostle Paul explains this in his epistle to the Roman church.
19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1)
We have all the evidence that we need through nature and modern, natural science reinforces what God teaches, that there is a Creator who created all things. The only way not to accept the fact is to choose to reject what is clear and invent your own theory, which comes with its own set of facts. This is where Darwinian evolution enters the picture.
21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. (Romans 1)
They are fools, not because they are not well educated. The problem is that the education does not help them because that education leads them to futile speculations (useless idea, disastrous ideas). They actually are foolish enough to believe fairytales (Darwinian evolution) instead of the clear evidence around them.
2. Conscience
God has given all men a conscience to prove that He exists and that we should seek Him.
14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. (Romans 2)
Why do some want to deny the existence of God? I believe it is because their conscience bothers them for doing what is wrong and in order to quiet that conscience, they vehemently deny the existence of God so that they can excuse themselves for not listening to that conscience. All people all over the world have an inborn conscience that reminds them that they need to get right with God for doing what is wrong. I remember when I was a teen, there was a certain sin in my life that bothered me to the core. I was taught that it is a natural practice that all humans participate in and that I should not feel any guilt. Even having been taught that and wanting to believe that, every time I did it, I felt dirty and my conscience would rebuke me. I wanted to be like the foolish and ignore the facts but my conscience would not leave me alone. It was not guilt that someone had put in me during my childhood. It was the conscience that I was born with, a testimony of the living God. You can be foolish and try to deny your conscience but that does not change the facts of reality. God exists and have planted a conscience in all of mankind.
3. Commandments (the big 10, or moral laws)
All cultures all over the world, expanding over all times, all hold to the basic moral laws of the 10 Commandments. These commandments are found in Exodus 20.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.
5 “You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7 “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
8 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 “Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God ; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. 11 “For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day ; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. 12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
13 “You shall not murder.
14 “You shall not commit adultery.
15 “You shall not steal.
16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house ; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Laws 5 through 10 deal with man’s relationships with other people. Here we find the moral laws that permeate all cultures. Murder is frowned upon in all cultures. Adultery is frowned upon in all cultures. Stealing is condemned in all cultures. Lying is not tolerated. These laws manifest themselves even in pagan cultures that have nothing to do with the Bible. When we take a look at the moral laws, we should quickly realize that we have fallen short and need help, as well as forgiveness for our mistakes. Those who want to be foolish, see the evidence of moral law and instead of admitting God’s existence, they turn to foolish speculations, Darwinian evolution. The problem with this way of thinking is that it teaches people to disregard moral laws. Darwinian evolution has been taught for several generations now and we are shocked to hear of school shootings (do not murder includes do not shoot up a school full of children). We wonder how so many could have no problem with calling a human life in the womb a “choice” that can be dealt with however you desire. Lying, cheating, and stealing are not a problem as long as you do not get caught. That is the mindset of many these days. The act of lying, cheating, and stealing is not a problem to many, unfortunately. When you see moral laws, do you recognize the existence of God, your guilt before Him, and need for His forgiveness or do you just ignore those laws and do what you please? Ignoring the facts and doing what you please is foolish because you end up hurting yourself and the people around you.
4. Conversion (people being born again)
The Gospel is the power of God for salvation. Part of that salvation is the fact that a man’s nature can be changed. When he converts by accepting the Gospel, he is born again, being transformed from the inside out. Before conversion, he practices all kinds of sinful things, even denying the existence of his Creator in spite of all of the evidence. That person is so transformed that he begins to proclaim what he once denied, even to the point of dying for his convictions. This process is explained by the Apostle Paul in I Corinthians 6.
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God ? Do not be deceived ; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
The writer of this epistle, Paul, was once a persecutor of Christians, a murderer yet he was converted and transformed, becoming a preacher and teacher of the Gospel. Saint James, another person who did not believe, later was converted and began preaching and teaching, ultimately giving up his life for the cause. A transformed life is tangible proof of the existence of God. He makes the promises of transformation in His Word and then delivers in real life. To deny this is to deny reality. People choose not to believe conversion stories because they choose to be ignorant on purpose, becoming futile in their speculations. Conversion stories can be shared but a person cannot truly understand it until it happens to him. Denying something that you have never experienced does not nullify the experience.
What about you my friend, do you choose to be ignorant about the facts, seeing all of the evidence yet still denying the existence of God? Why do you deny the existence of God? Is it because of your sinful actions? When you view the 10 Commandments (moral laws), do you realize that you need God or do you speculate ways to calm your conscience? Would you like to accept reality and be converted (born again), experiencing God’s forgiveness and power to obey Him, turning away from your sinful acts? God is ready and willing to forgive you. Make the right choice today. May the Lord bless us as we accept reality.

Nothing in this blog proves god exists. All I see is a desperate Christian trying to prove a dying belief. A blog written by u is no proof in the existence of god or anything of the bible. Show me physical proof. Show me god. Oh that’s right u can’t.
I want to share something with you that you really need to hear. God knows about you and he knows how you act and think. He loves you but He also tells it like it is. Please read the following verses.
– you are wicked
– you are haughty (that is easily seen in the way that you write)
– you believe there is no God
– You are a fool (the word fool does not mean a man who does not have knowledge, fool mean a man who sees reality as it is yet still chooses to deny it, there is plenty of proof for the existence of God but you do not want to accept reality because you know that it will force you to reconsider your ways)
– you are corrupt
– you have committed abominable injustices (just as an example, looking at pornography is an abominable injustice because many women are used and abused because of it and by looking at it, you participate in its wickedness)
As you can see, God has a message for those who choose not to believe the evidence of His existence and He explains why you do not want to believe.
Yet again u are trying to prove the existence of god through the bible. I don’t believe in the bible. That means I am in touch with reality.
I see reality as it is and I accept it. I see in this reality that people cannot live unless they think someone is looking over them and FYI I do believe in a god and a goddess however there not some divine super figure. Yes I am haughty. Sorry for being proud of who I am and what I believe. Corrupt, in ur eyes maye but in mine and most other people I am just a standard human who believes in myself and believe in reality.

So as u can see. U still have no proof of the existence of god, other then quotes from a book that is also not proof of his existence. Proof is physical proof. God would have to stand in front of me to be classed as proof.
I wish I had a dollar for every time some one used this tired tactic. Atheists, as well as others who claim that either God is not real, or the Bible is not a divinely inspired Book, try to use the Bible against Itself while at the same time, if a born again Christian uses the Bible as evidence for the existence of God, or the authenticity of the Bible, the atheists (et.al) cry foul. Do you not see the blatantly obvious double standard? How can you allow the Bible to be used against the Bible to show that God does not exist not allow the Bible as proof? One could claim, “all watermelons are actually blue on the inside yet when you cut open the melon, it turns red or yellow, now disprove that they are all blue on the inside without actually looking inside”.
Do you believe 10 billion dollars exists? Have you ever actually seen 10 billion dollars? Yet you still believe it exists based on what others claim.
It does not matter what you or I think because we may have different standards. What matters is what God thinks because He has already set the standard for morality. You either come in line with His standard or you miss the mark, which is the definition of the word “sin”.
I hope that you never do look at porn. I do know that you have looked at a woman or man with lust in your heart (taking that person to bed with you in your mind). In God’s eyes you have committed sexual sin just by doing it in your mind because you actions flow from your thoughts.
Once again physical proof:
(1) the historical person of Jesus Christ
(2) the nation of Israel
(3) transformed lifestyles of actual people
Those are 3 quite tangible things. You can choose to ignore the evidence. It is not a wise choice but it is yours to make.
I honestly feel like I am talking to myself. I haven’t used the bible to disprove the bible. I’ve read the bible from front to bk several times. It’s a great fictional story but do I believe the events in there prove god said them or dictated them? No…why because there’s to many contradictions, mistakes, illogical content that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The crap about Jesus being foreseen. It’s . . . (edited for foul language). I could give u a list of particulars and a date, of a new born who on that given day in that given city or country that could be matched to my so called prediction.
To the sane person the bible is nothing but a fishermans tale. A collection of books that are written for the mere purpose of control. It worked well bk in the day but today people do not get mugged in by threats of hell and crap like that. People like u use it to justify brainwashing and scare tactics. So glad real Christians aren’t like u. Real Christians accept everybody for who they. They don’t shout corrupt or wicked because someone doesn’t get mugged in to ur control. I stand by my opinion that there no real evidence of Jesus being the son of god, or that the bible proves anything other then being a big book of hatred and scare tactics. Funny thing is I used to believe in the bible until I grow up out of 9th grade and saw what the truth really was. I explored and found my own way without any divine help.
I have done more for this world then u could even imagine. I have helped more people then I can count. All done by the kindness of my heart and not with a bible and scare tactics.
I said the atheists use the Bible to disprove the Bible. You use the Bible to disprove God by saying that you cannot use the Bible to prove God and that the Bible cannot be divine. Quite noticeable, you back up none of these sayings with any evidence. Which, quite honestly is the typical tactic.
I have already pointed out that there is a huge difference between “reading” the Bible and actually “studying” It. Many have read It and understand nothing because they fall short of studying, either because of laziness or lack of knowledge of the study tools needed about the rules of composition.
This is the proof in black and white that you try to use the Bible against the Bible and against God. You want to use the Bible against God, against Itself yet you cry foul if I use the Bible to prove God’s existence. You have a clear double standard.
Can you give me more than 300 predictions about a person’s birth, life, and death, most of which were written down 500 or more years before the actual birth and have them all come true by coincidence? The probability of macro evolution is more likely 🙂
If your close relative were addicted to narcotics and destroying his or her life because of it (not only his life but the lives of the people around him), would it be tolerant to just let that person be without offering any help, especially of you had been in that situation before and been rescued? That is who a genuine Christian is and what he does. He has been there, being enslaved to sin but having been set free. He wants to help his fellow human being just like he was helped. You sure missed a lot of info, facts, and details in the Bible during all of those “reading” sessions you claim to have had.
Actually, the atheist, evolutionist claims that something came from nothing.
All have a conscience, which proves that God created us and gave it to us. It could not have “evolved” exactly the same in all corners of the world the way that it has. There would be a variation, according to evolution. With this “proof” you actually disprove your own stance.
If there is a law, then there has to be a lawgiver. Remember, you claim that nothing cannot come from nothing. (actually, you believe that something comes from nothing ☺ ) How would the exact same set of moral commands evolve the exact same way in every society that has ever existed? Would there not be variation?
So, a man who was once a drug addicted, who has been converted, and now is a productive member of society is not a good thing? I do not understand your logic.
I don’t think Darwin or any evolutionist stated that something came from nothing. Darwin talked about living species (plants, animals, insects, birds, etc) adapting or evolving to survive changes in their environment through a process called natural selection.
If you’ve ever worked on a farm, you’ve seen this first hand. Crops are sprayed to kill insects. Some of the insects survive the crop dusting because they have a natural resistance to the chemical. Those insects reproduce to form a new colony of pests that are immune to the insecticide. The old pesticide becomes useless and a new pesticide is needed to kill of the new colony of insects. That’s natural selection.
It’s the same for the AIDS virus. There are some people, roughly 5 to 15% of the population, that is resistant to HIV, even after repeated exposure. It’s been discovered that these people have a mutation of the HIV receptor on the cell wall, called the CCR5 receptor. The mutation is called the CCR5-delta 32 receptor. That’s survival through natural selection.
It’s the same with flu shots. The flu virus evolves or mutates every year. You need to get a new flu shot every year because the DNA of the flu virus mutates which produces a new strain of flu virus. Yet there are some people who don’t get the flu, year after year, even though they don’t get a flu shot. That’s natural selection.
Humans evolved, survived, adapted, and thrived for millions of years through the process of natural selection.
This is what natural selection or evolution is all about. It’s not about creating something from nothing.
Where did matter come from? What about time and space? The insects are still insects. They reproduce after their own kind, just like the Bible teaches. Plus, the insect example does not demonstrate natural selection. It demonstrates intelligent design.
Of course insects are still insects. Two insects mating won’t produce an elephant. That’s not natural selection. Natural selection is creatures taking advantage of slight modifications of their DNA to enable that species to survive changes to their environment. It’s not mice suddenly sprouting wings and becoming birds. The insects that had a natural immunity to the pesticide survived and those insects repopulated the colony. You can see that in just one generation that change became predominant in that insect family. You can image changes that could occur through millions of years of adaptations. That’s evolution by natural selection. It’s a very slow process that is driven by the environment and changes to the environment in which plants and animals live.
There are millions of viruses and bacteria that we breathe in from the air, we drink in our water, and eat on our food, but over the millions of years we have developed a natural immunity to most of those. But even some of those viruses and bacteria themselves mutate over generations and produce killer strains.
If you want to talk about intelligent design, look at the evolution of the eye. Starting from a collection of light sensitive cells on early multicellular creatures to the eyeball we see through today. That’s pretty incredible. If I was to believe in intelligent design, that would be the one development I could buy into.
I could not see God creating man or woman in one day. If I was God, that would be no fun for me. How boring, But orchestrating the creation of all the components of animals and plants, evolving DNA over millions of years, would be quite a project worthy of God.
Matter, space and time evolved from the Big Bang. The early universe was a super heated ball of plasma energy. As the ball cooled, elementary particles like quarks and bosons starting to condense out as well as the forces of nature such as gravitons and the weak and strong nuclear forces.. As the ball cooled some more, those particles were able to combine to produce electrons and neutrons. The Universe expanded and cooled some more through a process called Inflation. More cooling produced the first hydrogen atom, then Helium atoms. One can think of this process as an atom bomb in reverse. We can see the energy unleashed when a few pounds of plutonium explodes. It produces enough energy to destroy a large city. Reversing that process transforms energy into matter according to Einstein’s equation, E=MC2. Again, this is a project worthy of God.
Where that early ball of plasma came from is up to much speculation which I won’t go into here.
